A Grade II* Georgian Townhouse in Marylebone
Built in the 1770s by John Johnson, with Library bookcases designed by Sir John Soane.
Asia House is a Grade II* listed Georgian townhouse on New Cavendish Street, built around 1775 to 1777 by the architect John Johnson after Robert and James Adam gave up the site. Once a private home, it is now a centre for Asian art and an independent think tank, and its period rooms are hired out for conferences, dinners and receptions.
The Fine Rooms have carved marble fireplaces, high coffered ceilings and crystal chandeliers, and hold banquets of up to 120. The Library keeps original bookcases designed by Sir John Soane in 1784 and seats 40 for a private dinner. Asia House has in-house catering and works with approved caterers, so please talk to us early about your plans.
